You're there when I need someone
No matter what time of day.
Stopping what you are doing,
Wanting to help in any way.

You lift me when I am down.
You comfort me when I'm sad,
Sending just the right words
When I am feeling bad.

You think of me often
Covering me with prayer.
You walk along side of me
When life seems unfair.

Encouragement is your gift,
That makes me seem to soar,
Wanting nothing in return,
You always give me more.

Angels live in heaven,
But I know they live here, too.
Knowing how you are to me,
I see an angel in you!
