Poem: JOURNEY OF MOTHERHOOD

It started with a seed of love, thus motherhood begun.
Life would never be the same. Nor my work ever be done.
For once I became a mother, I wore my heart inside out.
Putting my own needs aside, I learned what love's about.
From a baby to a chld, each month went much too fast.
Discovering the world together, building memories that would last.
Before my eyes appeared an adult, a child transformed to a friend.
In just a blink of an eye, their childhood came to an end.
Then one day I turned around to find time had run away.
The love that I had given was coming back in a different way.
In my jouney to motherhood I could clearly see.
The love I had for my chld was returning back to me!
