Due to the new laws enacted by the CPSIA Act, Kennebug has to make some changes to their childrens' line of jewelry. Any of the items made for children aged 12 and under will have to be made with Freshwater pearls (instead of swarovski pearls), sterling silver (which we already used), and semi precious gemstones (no swarovski crystals) such as semi precious gemstones
. If the item is for a child over 12 and you would like the original beads used, let us know in the notes section of the item ordered. We hope to have each item in our inventory with an option to let us know if the child is 13 or older. We are so sorry for this inconvenience and hope the CPSIA will modify this law soon so that we can go back to making the safe quality items for your loved ones with swarovski crystals, cats eyes, and other fun colors we like to use.
This does not affect any of the adult jewelry where we will still be using swarovski crystals unless asked specified otherwise.
